The Transformation of Limassol Marina
The initial idea of constructing a Marina in Limassol was in 1960, at the time it was just a simple idea, and nobody expected that idea to be transformed as the Luxury Destination it is today.
At the time the people of Limassol did not go near the area as it was full of industrial warehouses, old and scrap metals and in general a place that people had no interest or even passing by.
After many years of discussions and negotiations, in 2008 the master plan for all the necessary licenses from the government was placed. After a long two years, the licenses were finally accepted and approved by the Cyprus government,
Making it the longest wait for any other development in Cyprus to be granted licenses.
In 2010 construction had started. Cyprus was facing an economic financial crisis at the time, therefore making this luxury development a huge challenge for the companies involved.
The Limassol Marina master plan consists of 285 residential properties consisting of private villas and apartments, the owner of the villas also owns private berths for their yacht, the size of the berth for each villa depends on the size of the villa.
14 restaurants bars and 50 commercial properties such as clothing, supermarkets, bank etc.
The Limassol Marina receives about 20,000 visitors each week making it the go-to destination for locals and tourists of Limassol.
The Real Estate part of the Limassol Marina is almost sold out with only a few villas available
